Multiple FMS consumption models

Contract to Hire is a staffing arrangement where IT personnel are initially hired on a contractual basis for a fixed period, typically to support Facilities Management Services (FMS) activities such as IT infrastructure maintenance, help desk, or on-site support. During this period, the client evaluates the resource’s performance and fit within the organization. Based on satisfactory performance, the client has the option to convert the contractor into a permanent employee. This model offers flexibility, reduces hiring risks, and ensures the right talent is retained. 

Cost Plus is a pricing model used in FMS IT Support contracts where the client pays the actual cost incurred for the services (including salaries, equipment, and overheads) plus an agreed-upon fee or percentage as profit or service charge. This model provides transparency and aligns costs with actual resource utilization. It is often used when the scope of services varies or when precise costing is preferred, allowing clients to control expenses while ensuring service quality.
